Treatments

CPAP

CPAP is an external device to open the airway by pushing oxygen through the nose and/or mouth.

These devices are the initial treatment doctors recommend when diagnosed with sleep apnea.

Oral Appliance

Oral Appliances are night appliances to help fix your jaw in place to prevent it from falling back and closing your airway during sleep.

Your doctor will work with dentists specializing in oral appliances to receive an appliance.

Weight Loss

Weight loss is the best self-aid component for treating sleep apnea. Losing weight is something you could do on your own, with a friend or trainer.

It is often paired with other treatments to maximize benefits.

Surgery

Surgery is the most altering and non-reversible treatment. Typically it is suggested for severe sleep apnea patients to help open up the airway by removing tissue. Tonsil removal is an example of a surgery to treat sleep apnea.

How can we help?

Doctor's Diagnosis

Recommended

‘I am arriving with a doctor’s clinical diagnostic and referral.’

This will help provide the necessary information to us, so we can provide a recommendation to a variety of oral appliances that could work best for you.

Self Diagnosis

The discomfort is affecting your life and want to seek help

‘I have addressed this to my dentist.’

All a dentist can provide without a clinical diagnostic report from a doctor is a reduction in snoring. We recommend you talk to your primary doctor to contact a sleep study specialist to be diagnosed and referred.
